Role Overview:

The Local Director / Manager acts as a designated contact for Vantage Prime Capital Limited in Vanuatu and provides general oversight of the Company’s activities within the jurisdiction. The role supports communication with regulators and external parties, assists with licensing and regulatory matters, and attends to day-to-day matters relating to local business, administrative, and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

General Management

• Provide general oversight of the Company’s business activities in Vanuatu.
• Attend to day-to-day matters relating to local business, administrative, and external communications.
• Act as a local reference point for matters arising within the jurisdiction.
• Escalate material business or regulatory matters to the Senior Management where appropriate.

Regulatory & External Engagement

• Act as a contact for regulators, including the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission and Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit, and relevant external parties.
• Assist with licence applications, renewals, and regulatory correspondence.
• Attend meetings or respond to enquiries from regulators or external stakeholders when required.
• Coordinate information and responses to regulatory or external requests.

Key Requirements:

Eligibility

• Must be based in Vanuatu.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

Experience & Profile:

• University degree in business, commerce, financial services, or legal profession preferred.
• Experience in financial services, business operations, corporate services, or regulated industries.
• Exposure to the Financial Dealers Licensing Act, the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing Act and International Companies Act is an advantage.
• Exposure to general management, business administration, or oversight roles is an advantage.
• Comfortable engaging with regulators, counterparties, and external stakeholders.
