Job Vacancy: Junior Secondary School Teacher (Years 7 & 8)
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior Secondary School Teacher to join our team and start immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Agriculture, Social Studies, and Science to Years 7 & 8 and must be familiar with the Vanuatu Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Agriculture, Social Studies, and Science based on the Vanuatu Curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to support the overall educational program.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification (Diploma or Degree in Education).
- Familiarity with the Vanuatu Curriculum for Years 7 & 8.
- Experience in teaching Agriculture, Social Studies, and/or Science at the junior secondary level is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students.
- Willingness to contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.
