INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

RENOVATION AND REFURBISHMENT WORKS AT THE VANUATU TOURISM OFFICE POST-EARTHQUAKE 2025

A. OBJECTIVE

The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) invites expressions of interest from qualified construction agencies or companies for the renovation and refurbishment of the VTO Head Office building, which sustained structural and internal damage during the 7.3 magnitude earthquake that struck Port Vila in December 2024.
This project aims to restore the VTO Head Office to a safe, functional, and operational state in preparation for full relocation and resumption of services by January 2026.

B. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Interested construction companies must demonstrate:

•  Valid business license and registration in Vanuatu
•  Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial or government building renovations
•  Proven capacity to complete works within budget and timeline
•  Skilled workforce including masons, carpenters, electricians
•  Strong coordination and communication abilities
•  References from at least two comparable renovation projects
