Job Description
Iririki Island Resort & Spa is seeking a suitable candidate to appoint for following position
INTERNAL SALES MANAGER
Reporting to the General Manager, you will enjoy being part of a supportive senior management team, where you have responsibility for generating key quality new business to introduce Iririki Island Resort & Spa to senior stakeholders within medium to large organizations based in Vanuatu, and to reintroduce existing businesses to the full renovated, up-market Resort.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Proactively approach new business opportunities (MICE) with potential customers within the local Vanuatu market
- Actively prospecting for new opportunities and re-establishing contact with previous customers
- Work to KPIs
- Meet targets for finding new names, and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Approaching all sales in a manner aimed at generating internal sales
- Facilitating successful sales outcomes with prospective new customers
- Sustain rapport with key business stakeholders
- Perform other related duties and assignment as required by the Management.
- Minimum of four years of hotel internal sales experience, experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks
- Knowledge of Room Master hotel system an advantage
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Five years sales experience within the hotel/ resorts industry
- Pro-active attitude
- High organizational skills, high integrity, capable of engaging with Senior level professionals
- Team player
- Positive attitude and desire to learn and develop professionally
This is a full time position to commence immediately.
