The Ministry of Tourism, Trades, Commerce & Ni-Vanuatu Business, under the Department of Industry, seeks to recruit a suitable person for the position of:

Job Title: Industry Standards and Compliance Officer
Post No: 5693
Grade: PS 5.1
Annual Salary: VT. 1, 513, 100
Location: Port Vila

The successful candidate will be assessed against the following criteria:

• Qualification – Degree/ Advance Diploma
• Special Business Education – Economics, Business Studies or any related fields
• Experience – A minimum of 3 years experiences or relevant experiences in the field of business industries either in public or private sector
• Special Skills – Supervision skills, monitoring and implementation skills, planning and report skills, compliance skills, report writing skills and computer literate
• Thinking Style – Creativity and analytical in organising and establishing priorities
• Communication/ Interpersonal Skills – Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of cultures and in a diverse communities
• Behavioural Competencies – Team work, problem solving, honest, reliable, and respectful and generally a good behavioural attitude
• Language – English or French and Bislama
