Full-Time HORSE RIDING INSTRUCTOR
Job Description
To teach students skills in horsemanship and proper technique, specific riding skills to prepare riders for equestrian competitions and specialized events and exams (Galops FFE).
To look after the health and well-being of 40 equine and to organize events and competitions.
Must speak French and English.
Key responsibilities:
- Helping students learn and master specialized riding skills in dressage, show jumping and eventing with an emphasis on developing proper technique and form.
- Promote safety for horse and rider.
- Teach the basics of horsemanship and riding from beginners to advanced riders, allowing them to qualify and represent Vanuatu in international competitions.
- Organize events such as competitions, shows, camps and Galops sessions.
Experience and education:
- BPJEPS (French) or CRI level 1 (USA) or BHSII (UK) or EA level 2 (AUS).
- Years of riding and training.
- Extensive horsemanship knowledge.
- Experience in competitions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Planning and implementation of effective lesson plans.
- Exhibit professionalism.
- Promote the human treatment of animals.
- Understand the ethical and legal implications of the job.
