HEALTH PLANNING OFFICER
The Vanuatu Australia Health Partnership (VAHP) represents a 15-year bilateral investment from the Australian Government to support Vanuatu’s Ministry of Health (MoH) to deliver the health components of the National Sustainable Development Plan 2016–2030. VAHP works alongside the Ministry of Health corporate services, public health and clinic services staff to increase delivery of equitable, accessible and better-quality essential health services, and support senior staff to lead continuous improvement and strengthened accountability of the Vanuatu health sector.
VAHP are recruiting a Health Planning Officer to assist the Ministry of Health (MOH) in enhancing national and provincial health planning. Working with the VAHP Senior Health Sector Planning Specialist, the Officer will also aid DFAT/VAHP in improving coordination with regional and other development partners. Additionally, the officer will support the Policy and Planning Unit (PPU) in developing a new Corporate Plan and ensuring alignment of the MOH’s business plans with this plan and the Health Sector Strategy
