An exciting opportunity has just come for you to join ANZ as the Head of Pacific Asset Management Unit.

About The Role

As the Head of Pacific Asset Management Unit, you will:

  • Lead and support a small Regional Team in developing, communicating, implementing and executing strategies for the benefit of high-risk customers and ANZ.
    • Lead and support in embedding a strong conduct and risk culture with an understanding of ANZ’s risk and regulatory requirements and seeing these are met to protect ANZ, our staff, our customers, and communities.
  • Contribute to policy changes and initiatives for both AMU and the wider Pacific Credit function.
  • Support the control and regulatory requirements for local and Group or Impaired asset reporting.
  • Oversee effective retention or exit strategies being adopted to create/preserve value and to see remediation of risk in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and with external intermediaries and advisors.

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Restructuring experience.
  • Work out skills including experience in executing balanced enforcement strategies.
  • Strong negotiation and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to lead a team of professions across a broad set of countries.
  • Collaborative mindset
