Job Description

Vodafone Vanuatu is seeking for a Head of Marketing based in Port Vila.

Missions:
Head of Marketing will be a key member of the Management team making significant contribution to the strategic development of the organization; as a leader responsible for driving the commercial activities of the organization together with identifying and driving new commercial ventures focused towards business revenue growth, profitability and overall organizational growth.
To support all functions of Vodafone Vanuatu in achieving revenue targets.
To support achievement of global Vodafone Vanuatu targets by the timely provision of
information for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Develop and execute business strategies that align with the company’s business goals, such as increasing market share, launching new products and services, and driving customer loyalty.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, including digital marketers, brand managers, and product development managers.
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives across a variety of channels, such as digital, social media, TV, and print.
  • Track and analyze company performance, and present final versions of, all Vodafone Vanuatu Sales and Marketing reports.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and the media.
  • Stay up to date on the latest marketing trends and technologies and develop new marketing ideas and strategies.
  • Communicate planning impacts throughout the organisation, at levels of need-to-know
  • Cascade performance targets to Business Managers and Team Leaders within sales and marketing function
  • Manage supplier and distributor relationships relevant to sales and marketing function
  • Manage customer relationships
  • Participate in regional and global consultation and planning cycles
  • Implementation is timely, focused, effective, within budget, continuously monitored, and critically evaluated

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or Telecom Engineering from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to holders of an MBA with specialization in Marketing and membership with a professional body.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Strong experience developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Experience managing a team of marketing professionals.
  • Experience with a variety of marketing channels, including digital, social media, TV, and print.
  • Experience with marketing analytics and tracking the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of the telco industry and its competitive landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
