Full-Time GARDENER & MAINTENANCE STAFF
Job Description
Objective of the Position:
- Team Player, Honest, Trustworthy, punctual, multitask, respectable, reliable;
- Can carry out duties unsupervised;
- Comply with departmental maintenance procedures;
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 8 hours from Monday to Friday or a total of 40 hours per week.
Work Hours starts from 7:30am to 11:30am. Lunch if between 11:30am to 1:00Pm. Afternoon schedule starts 1:00PM to 5:00PM
Job Status: Overtime is expected when and where necessary, due to work load demands.
Reports to: SDA/SM Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining VBL grounds, keeping lawn & hedges neat;
- Rubbish collection;
- Carrying out repairs on buildings when in need;
- Cleaning our drainage system after heavy rain;
- Reporting of any damages to Responsible Manager;
- Maintenance outside & inside of buildings, VBL & Ecumbene alike;
- Requisitions for the maintenance/ gardening required for all department.
- Oversee repairs and maintenance in VBL area.
Responsibilities are NOT limited, additional tasks can be added when and where needed as see fit by the Responsible Manager.
