Voluntary Food & Beverage Trainee – NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Job Description
This role is not a paid position. The successful applicant will will be given a weekly allowance to cover their work transportation expenses.
This traineeship program is suitable for those who do NOT have any work experience, have a fun and outgoing personality with strong work ethics who have recently finished school and is looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry.
This traineeship is for a period of 3 months with the possibility of gaining full time employment at the end. You will be trained by our experienced and friendly team members in a wide variety of roles including;
– Sequence of service from beginning to end
– Back of house tasks
– Point of Sale training for ordering and completing sales
– Communication with guests including complaint handling
– Cocktail, Coffee and Fresh Juice making
– Menu knowledge
– Function and Event setups
– Carrying 3 plates
Criteria
– No work experience required
– Must be well groomed
– Be punctual to work
– Strong work ethics and discipline
– Eagerness to learn
– Not afraid to ask questions
– Constant note taking
– Be open to criticism (nogat big hed)
