Job Description
We are looking for a team player, with a strong mechanical background, great communication and reporting skills to support our high customer service standards and help maintain our fleet integrity in a fast-paced environment.
Role:
The Fleet Assistant has the important role to help ensure customer service is not diminished by making sure vehicles are proactively checked, serviced, and maintained to minimise unscheduled downtime and safety. The Fleet Assistant works actively assisting the Fleet and Customer Service team to achieve this, reporting and actively problem-solving issues.
Essentials:
Mechanical skills; formal or non-formal training.
Current driver licence with a clean record.
Confident, outstanding communicator face to face, written and on the phone.
An eye for detail and the ability to get things right first time.
Time management and organisation skills. Logistic.
Multitasker, problem solver.
Well presented.
Trustworthy and reliable with a positive attitude.
Fluent in English and Bislama.
Eligible to live and work in Vanuatu
Advantage:
Strong administration skills, Microsoft applications.
Written and spoken French.
Experience in the vehicle rental/tourism industry.
The positions will be full time (five-and-a-half-day week roster) and involve working some nights, weekends and public holidays.
