Fixed Operations Manager plays an important role in the company and is responsible for the supplying of replacement parts to its Dealership service centres and its customers. By maintaining the right mix and level of stock the Fixed Operations Manager helps to ensure the efficiency and productivity of the business’ service and repair operations and also used sales and marketing skills to increase revenue by selling parts to customers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Minimum 10 years dealership and multi-franchise experience;
- Management role 8 years’ experience;
- Excellent knowledge of Dealer Management Systems and how they work;
- Staff management experience;
- Preparing budgets, and profit management
- Extensive experience in aftersales operations management within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in strategic planning and operational optimization.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of parts inventory management and service department operations.
- Ability to analyze data and implement performance improvement strategies.
- Familiarity with warranty procedures and technical support services.
- Commitment to compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Proven track record of achieving financial targets and maximizing departmental profitability.
- Ability to foster a positive work culture and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Experience in vendor management, including negotiation and supplier relations.
