Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Fishing Captain to join our fishing vessel operations. The ideal candidate must have a Master 5 qualification (up to 200 tons) and at least 5 years experience Captaining of commercial fishing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Safely navigate and operate the fishing vessel
• Lead & menage the crew effectively
• Plan & execute fishing expeditions
• Ensure compliance with all safety & regulatory requirements
• Maintain & oversee the vessel’s equipment & machinery
• Accurately record & report catches and fishing activites

Requirements

• Must have a Master 5 Qualification (up to 200 tons).
• A minimum of 5 years of commercial fishing experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of fishing techniques and regulations.
• Ability to work in challenging and dynamic environments
• Excellent problem solving skills.
