WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION : FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Job Title: Financial Controller (FC)
Purpose
To be responsible for providing financial leadership, advice and support. Taking a lead role in developing, implementing, analyzing, maintaining and presenting strategic business and financial plans. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, challenging and driving business performance. Driving innovation in the finance function to improve analysis and the provision of business information leading then Finance, HR, and Administration functions in the Company.
Scope
The FC will report directly to the Managing Director and will be a key member of the Senior Management Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Leadership
- Finance Department Responsibilities such as annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow, financial reporting, product margin analysis, and annual statutory accounts
- Management responsibilities for Finance, Accounts, HR, and Administration
- Staff Development & Training
- Senior Management responsibilities
- Group co-ordination to work closely with Divisional Managers
- Other areas of responsibility required by the Managing Director
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES AND EDUCATION
- Qualified accountant & Membership with Accounting Professional Bodies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Managemen
- At least 10 years’ experience of being the a company’s head financial officer
- Staff management and leadership
- Strong knowledge of HR procedures and laws
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and development Personal Competencies
