WVV is now recruiting for a Finance Officer based in our Country Program Office in Port Vila. In line with WV Vanuatu’s for Children, For Change, For Life (4C4C4L) purpose, the Finance Officer will:
- Ensure that the World Vision Financial policies and procedures are followed regularly
- Help to implement financial policies for budgets , cash management and supplier payment with established and appropriate policies relevant to respective projects and WV financial policy.
- Help to promote financial stewardship , accountability and reliability of financial transactions.
- Help to administer all aspects of office management , including filing and organisation .
The ideal candidate should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Minimum Yr 12 in Business Administration , Finance / Economist or equivalent
- Experience in general working knowledge of World Vision Finance systems such as SUN
- Knowledge on general finance principals , understanding and ability to follow policies and appropriately apply procedures
- Sound management and organizational skills
- Demonstrate ability to work gracefully under pressure while providing responsive customer service
- Ability to contribute and work cooperatively within a team environment.
- Well-developed computer skills , MS Office package and any accounting package
- At least 3 years experience .
An annual salary package of between VT900,000 to VT960,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
