Job Description
Background
The Government of Vanuatu, with funding from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia and the Pacific, the Ireland Trust Fund for Building Climate Change and Disaster Resilience in Small Island Developing States, will implement a project that aims to address the immediate needs of vulnerable groups affected by COVID-19, while building their resilience to withstand further pandemic impacts and other external shocks in the future. The project has two outputs: (i) Output 1: food security and income generating support delivered to poor and vulnerable women, and (ii) Output 2: multidisciplinary responses to address GBV implemented.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
The qualifications for the consultant include the following (i) Bachelor’s degree in public administration, management, finance, accounting, or related field; (ii) at least 5 years of general work experience; (iii) at least 3 years of experience in financing practices and procedures; (iv) demonstrated experience across all aspects of procurement and financial management; (v) excellent oral and written skills in English; (vi) excellent interpersonal relations, planning, coordination, and teamwork skills; and (vii) prior experience in working with ADB or other international development assistance organizations will be preferred.
