Travel & Information Centres Network – Governance Strengthening Program
The Vanuatu Tourism Office seeks expression of interest to develop and implement improved processes and procedures across the Travel & Information Centre Network (TICN).
About the Vanuatu Tourism Office
The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) is the national tourism destination marketing organization. Our headquarter is based in Port-Vila (Vanuatu) supported by various representations in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and other long-haul markets in Europe, China, and North America.
Our role is to promote Vanuatu as a destination for international and domestic tourists.
Background
The Travel & Information Centre network (TICN) has become a critical facilitator for the domestic tourism market because most tour operators have been impacted by Covid-19 therefore the TICN supported by the VTO is able to assist the operators in creating new itineraries, preparing travel packages, promote, take reservations and bookings and deliver sales for the operators.
Due to the Covid Pandemic impact, many of the inbound and tour operators are not fully operational yet, therefore the TICN is a key enabler to undertake coordination for product assessments, packaging and promotion of current tourism operators to grow the domestic tourism market for travel as well as prepare market ready operators for border-reopening.
Scope of Work
The successful contractor will have the capacity and experience to deliver as expected and will work closely with the VTO team and its stakeholders to undertake the task of developing and implementing improved processes and procedures across the Travel & Information Centre Network.
