The New Vanuatu Specialist Activity Program
The Vanuatu Tourism Office invites proposal for the update of the Vanuatu Specialists content, as the VTO’s primary online trade training tool.
About the Vanuatu Tourism Office
The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) is the national tourism destination marketing
organization. Our headquarter is based in Port-Vila (Vanuatu) supported by various
representations in Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia and other long-haul markets
in Europe, China, and North America.
Our role is to promote Vanuatu as a destination for international and domestic tourists.
Background
As we plan ahead the re-opening of Vanuatu’s international borders and based on the new “normal”, we anticipate that a new group of travel agents, who typically sell other destinations, will want to incorporate Vanuatu as a new tourism destination in their portfolio. These new agents will therefore need training to deepen their knowledge on Vanuatu’s tourism products and services.
It is also expected that the majority of existing agents will need a refresher course and updates on products and experiences that are available in Vanuatu.
This activity is linked to the Vanuatu helpline to assist agents when they commence rebooking.
