Expert Consultant for Establishment of a Governance Structure for the Vanuatu Made Brand
The Ministry of Trade, Tourism, Commerce and Ni-Vanuatu Business (MTTCNVB) through the Department of Industry is seeking the services of a Consultant. The objective of this Consultant is to establish a robust administration and governance system of the Vanuatu Made brand.
The Consultant will be based in Port Vila, Vanuatu and is envisaged to work up to 50 Working Days, spreading over a number of months.
The successful applicant will possess the following:
Professional Experiences:
- Extensive experience in branding, with specific expertise in trademarks to support national priorities considered highly desirable
- Excellent communication and analytical and reporting skills;
- Experience in stakeholder dialogue and national, provincial and community level participatory consultation processes;
- Ability to organize and facilitate workshops and meetings;
- Proven track record in working with government and private sector agencies, a positive reputation with donor governments, and experience in capacity building at local level
- Experience in drafting legal documents
- Experience working in the Pacific Islands and a knowledge of Vanuatu is highly desirable.
Education Background:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, ICT, marketing or equivalent
- Extensive international training and practical professional development related to branding, communications and marketing.
Language skills:
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bislama. Good understanding of French would be an advantage.
