Job Description

Oxfam in Vanuatu is recruiting to fill in 2 positions under its Inclusion Program. This is a five year program (2020-2025) and is working to increase power and opportunities to transform Pacific systems and institutions-championing safety, wellbeing, resilience and the urgency of a 1.5 world.

1. Program Manager Inclusion

The Program Manager will manage the program team, have oversight of program monitoring and accountability to partners and partner compliance with Oxfam program standard.

You will have:

  • Minimum five years’ experience in design, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of development programs and those focused on transforming social norms for gender and economic justice
  • Extensive experience of working with and supporting civil society organisations including capacity building and funding support
  • Experience in utilising participatory analysis, planning and M&E methodologies
  • Experience in convening and facilitating networks and successfully delivering collaborative initiatives
  • Experience in integrating gender equity and social inclusion across all aspects of the program
  • Experience in successfully managing budgets and donor funding/ contracts
  • Management and leadership experience in a complex, multi-cultural environment, leading diverse teams and stakeholders (internal and external), including the development of capacity and skills of staff

2. Partner/ Network Support Coordinator

You will support networks with key coordination and support the development of plans to transition to more autonomous operation over the early life of the program.

You will have:

  • At least five years’ experience working in program and or organizational development (required)
  • Experience in partnerships and consortium management (required)
  • High level skills in monitoring, evaluation, facilitation and program management (required)
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Skills in supporting colleagues and other stakeholders to gather information and put into place monitoring and other program management systems
  • An understanding of gender equity and power analysis skills and experience to integrate principles of gender equity and social inclusion into program management and development
  • Experience and skills in analysing financial reports
  • Experience in meeting donor requirements and supporting others to analyse their work to develop reports
  • Proven analytical skills and experience in developing a range of communications including stories of significant change, case studies, learning notes, video etc.
