Job Description
World Vision Vanuatu would love to hear from people with excellent skills, extensive experience, and a very good understanding of how to involve children meaningfully and safely in research. Relevant qualifications and an understanding of the Vanuatu/Pacific child protection context would be a significant advantage.
World Vision in collaboration with the Vanuatu National Statistics Office (VNSO) will be piloting a Child Wellbeing study in early 2023 with the intent to conduct a broader study should the pilot prove successful. World Vision seeks to collaborate with a researcher to deliver a high quality research design that includes proven and safe methods of collecting research data from children on a wide variety of subjects. The researcher would then provide support in the planning, implementation (data collection), data analysis, and writing of the technical report. Strong ethical researchers with extensive experience in child focused research are encouraged to apply to support our research into the views and lived experience of children and young people in Vanuatu.
