Job Description

“The responsibility of the Engineering Officer is to work closely with the R4D2 advisers and provide technical assistance and support to the R4D2 funded road activities within PWD. This will include, but not limited to;

• Assist in road works activity planning, scoping, designing, costing, contract documentation, implementation, time/cost/quality control, and completion in all six divisional offices.
• Ensure works adhere to the PWD Roads and Bridges Design Guide, Standards, Specifications, and ensure climate change and disaster resilience, environment, and safety considerations are addressed.
• Prepare new workplans and workplan revisions.
• Provide support to R4D2 Engineering Advisers as requested.
• Support R4D2 in ensuring safeguard requirements such as GEDSI, Work Place Health & Safety (WHS), and Environmental Safeguards are implemented.
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Engineering Adviser and/or Team Leader.”
