- WVV is now recruiting for a Senior Finance Officer based in our Country Program Office in Port Vila. In line with WV Vanuatu’s for Children, For Change, For Life (4C4C4L) purpose, the Senior Finance Officer will:Ensure that the World Vision Financial policies and procedures are followed regularly at the CPO and Area Office.
- In collaboration with the Finance Team, ensures that WVV financial reports and submitted on time.
- Ensure that accounting and payroll are processed accurately and in line with approved WVV standards.
- Provide technical support to Finance Officers at all Area Program Offices.
The ideal candidate should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Diploma in Accounting or accounting technician competency
- Experience in grants accounting and payroll systems
- Knowledge on general finance principals and auditing
- Knowledge on WV finance guidelines
- Understanding of Finance data processing concepts and systems
- Knowledge of spreadsheet applications
- 5 Years’ experience in finance
An annual salary package of between VT2,211,852 to VT3,317,772 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
