Our Healthy Families Portfolio is looking for a Portfolio Manager based in Port Vila!

The role:

Project Manage the varied Healthy Families Portfolio – currently including 3 grants.
The Healthy Families Portfolio aims to promote nutrition and ensure the well-being of families
through projects on agriculture production, nutrition, and building resilience through economic
opportunities such as food and agriculture businesses for individuals and communities. Safeguarding children and adults living in communities where we work is central to everything we do as well. The portfolio also has an extended focus on the resilience livelihood building through working within the labour mobility space, facilitating predeparture briefing for participants of the seasonal worker program (PALMS and RSE). This, in turn, can help families better withstand financial hardships and unexpected challenges, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being and security, by addressing these interconnected aspects of family life, the portfolio strives to create a sustainable and supportive environment where families can thrive and prosper for generations to come.

This role covers a wide range of tasks and responsibilities including:

  • Leading Program Staff in coordinating Healthy Families programming for all areas in which the various projects within the program work, including budgeting, M&E, planning, and implementation.
  • Partnering, coordinating and representing World Vision with national and provincial stakeholders, particularly in labour mobility.
  • Coordinating design, monitoring, and evaluation to a high quality for the overall portfolio. Coordinating operational support for the portfolio projects, particularly in technical areas of support.
  • Networking for greater impact with relevant National and Regional stakeholders, partners, and within in the World Vision Partnership. Leadership duties as part of the WV Senior Management Team.

The person:
To be successful in this role you will need to be:

  • Able to manage competing priorities with grace and a smile

Your skills & experience:

  • High level of expertise in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
  • High level of written and verbal communication – fluency in English required (for report writing);
  • Experience in project management, operations or budget management preferable;
  • Experience managing teams of staff would be preferable;
  • Experience in labour mobility and partnering a bonus.

The role reports to the Portfolio Quality Manager.
