Job Description
World Vision is now recruiting for its new European Union (EU) Grant positions for the GROW Project based in our Shefa Area Program Office in Port Vila. GROW Project will work in partnership with V-Lab and the department of Agriculture. The Project aims to increase economic empowerment and food security in shefa province. It will directly target women and youth to have increase food security & capacity and earn an income through climate resilience agriculture, as well as providing access to digital financial payment system to improve women and youth-led agribusiness capacity.
1 x Development Manager
This role leads the project team and is an important support to assist Portfolio Quality and Operations team achieve effective Programming objectives in this specific Project. The purpose of this position is to:
- Manage the relevant sector program, including budgeting, planning, implementation and reporting.
- Manage project staff, ensuring delivery of quality services in the community.
- Work in partnership with communities to ensure that World Vision is delivering relevant quality programs.
An annual salary package of between VT1,320,000 to VT 1,500,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
4 x Development Facilitators
This role will be focusing on the implementation of the Project in ensuring the communities have a strong understanding of the Project and also play a strong role in achieving the Project Outcome. The purpose of this positions is to:
- Implement project activities according to the project design with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving program outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups.
- Carry out ongoing monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
- An annual salary package of between VT776,664 to VT810,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
