World Vision is now recruiting for a Development Manager and two Development Facilitators for our Australian Government funded AHP Disaster READY 2.0 Programme. These roles will be based in Torba Province (Sola) with regular travel to World Vision’s Northern Area Program Office in Luganville and some travel to World Vision’s Country Programme Office in Port Vila.
Our AHP Disaster READY 2.0 project will focus on:
- Working closely with the Torba Provincial Government to support the Emergency Operations Centre to effectively prepare for and respond to disasters with consideration of the particular needs of vulnerable groups;
- Leading the collection of community profiling and hazard mapping information across Torba province;
- Supporting project partners to use the data to develop effective and socially-inclusive disaster preparedness and climate change adaptation plans;
- Providing returned seasonal workers who have vulnerable family members with access to targeted training in building disaster-resilient housing;
- Establishing inclusive savings groups that will provide a safety net for times of disaster.
- Development Manager annual salary package of between VT1,440,000 to VT1,560,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
- Development Facilitator annual salary package of between VT776,664 to VT810,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
