We are seeking an experienced electrician to join our maintenance delivery team in Port Vila.
The role will be responsible for the delivery of electrical planned and reactive maintenance works on site.
This role will require travel to Santo to perform the same duties. All flight and accommodation costs will be paid for by Sustain FM360.
Day to day you will be responsible for:
Delivery of planned preventative maintenance on electrical, fire and security systems.
Responding to reactive maintenance request to correct defects.
Establishing, managing and developing strong relationships with customers and clients
Ensuring commitment to zero harm, health and safety and environmental compliance
Using our works management system to log and document all planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is completed on time and to the correct standard
Developing cost estimates for reactive maintenance
Delivering minor project works
This is a key role, and you will need:
Certificate 1 in Electro Technology
Strong understanding of electrical systems such as switchboards, generators, solar, appliances, control panels, earthing systems, lighting, monitoring and power.
Understanding or ability to learn fire and security systems
Great time management and ability to deliver both planned and reactive maintenance
Commitment to safety and quality works
Ability to work autonomously
Someone who is not afraid to ask questions or for assistance
Broad facilities management or engineering knowledge with demonstrated experience across a diverse range of engineering and building assets for maintenance and minor construction works
High level of emotional intelligence to work with and build strong relationships with employees, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
Great coordination and communication skills and loves a challenge
To pass a pre-employment drug test and medical is required
Provide a satisfactory Police Clearance
Have a current drivers license
