Department: Maintenance
Location: Luganville, Santo
Weekly Hours: 40 hours + required for call-out
Reports to: Electrical Engineer
Job purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team at Forney Enterprises, Luganville, As the Electrician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities’
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Perform general electrical maintenance tasks.
Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
Assist the team in general maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
Completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
Prior experience working as an electrician.
High school leaving certificate
Electrician qualifications from a technical college (preferable).
Good knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair.
