Job Description

Vanuatu Utility and Infrastructure Limited (VUI) is currently hiring an experienced Electrician who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the installation and maintenance in our Power Stations in Luganville Concession.

This includes:

• The installation and maintenance of High Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgears
• Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and performing repairs on generators, transformers Circuit breakers and control systems including the remote Power Stations
• Train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical controls, equipment, and fixtures.

The applicant should have:

• At least 5 years’ experience working as factory electrician or a power station electrician.
• Should have confidence in troubleshooting electrical controls using schematic diagrams and various test equipment,
• Should have a driving licence
