Full-Time ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Vanuatu Utility and Infrastructure Limited (VUI) is currently hiring an experienced Electrician who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the installation and maintenance in our Power Stations in Luganville Concession.
This includes:
- The installation and maintenance of High Voltage and Low Voltage Switchgears
- Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and performing repairs on generators, transformers Circuit breakers and control systems including the remote Power Stations
- Train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical controls, equipment, and fixtures.
The applicant should have:
- At least 5 years’ experience working as factory electrician or a power station electrician.
- Should have confidence in troubleshooting electrical controls using schematic diagrams and various test equipment,
- Should have a driving licence
