E-COMMERCE PAYMENT OFFICER
Vodafone Vanuatu is seeking for an E-Commerce payment Officer based in Port Vila.
Mission:
As an E-commerce Payments Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our online payment systems. You will be responsible for managing various digital payment channels, monitoring transactions, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Website and Material Maintenance:
- Ensure the website is always up-to-date with the latest products for sale.
- Maintain all communication materials to be current and accurate.
B. Order Fulfillment:
- Oversee and manage the timely completion of all product deliveries.
C. Sales and After-Sales Processes:
- Ensure diligent adherence to all sales and after-sales processes.
D. Payment Channel Management:
- Oversee and manage multiple digital payment channels, including credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets, and bank transfers.
- Ensure seamless integration of payment gateways and processors with the e-commerce platform.
- Monitor payment channel performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
E. Transaction Processing and Reconciliation:
- Process and reconcile daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and chargebacks.
- Monitor and analyze transaction data to identify trends and potential issues.
F. Risk Management and Fraud Prevention:
- Implement robust fraud prevention measures to protect against fraudulent transactions.
- Stay updated on the latest fraud trends and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with security teams to enhance security protocols.
G. Customer Support:
- Provide excellent customer support for payment-related inquiries and issues.
- Respond promptly to customer concerns and resolve problems efficiently.
H. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other relevant payment industry regulations.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and implement necessary changes.
I. Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on payment performance, transaction volumes, and revenue.
- Analyze payment data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and online payment systems.
- Experience with payment gateways and processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.Net).
- Knowledge of PCI DSS and other payment industry regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
