Full-Time RE-ADVERTISEMENT OF DRIVE TEST OPTIMIZATION TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Vodafone Vanuatu is seeking for a Drive Test Optimization Technician to be based in Port-Vila.
Missions
The Drive Test Optimization Technician is responsible for the planning, execution, and analysis of drive tests to optimize the performance of cellular networks. This includes identifying and resolving coverage and capacity issues, as well as optimizing network parameters. The Drive Test Optimization Technician works closely with the Engineering team to ensure that the network is meeting the needs of customers.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute drive tests to identify and resolve coverage and capacity issues
- Analyze drive test data to identify areas for improvement
- Optimize network parameters to improve performance
- Work with the Engineering team to implement network changes
- Document and report on drive test findings
Competences:
1. Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
2. Skills
- Fluent English/ French and Bislama
- Good writing and verbal skills
- At least foundation knowledge in Radio Frequency engineering
- Good analytical skills
- Must have Driver’s License
- Comfortable skills on Office (Word/Excel/Visio/Powerpoint)
- Able to climb Tower Heights.
- Will be able to Travel to Rural Island sites
- Will be able to Travel by Boat / Palne or Helicopter
- Will be able to analyse geographical maps
