We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual to temporarily fill the role of Disaster Ready Finance and Logistics Officer. This position plays a critical role in supporting disaster preparedness and response efforts through effective financial management and logistical coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations related to Disaster Ready activities, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements
•  Manage procurement, inventory, and distribution of emergency supplies and equipment
•  Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and field operations. ∙ Support reporting and documentation for audits and donor accountability
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to strengthen disaster resilience initiatives

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Logistics, Disaster Management, or a related field. ∙ Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in finance and logistics, preferably in humanitarian or development settings
•  Strong organizational and communication skills
•  Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic environments
•  Familiarity with donor-funded projects and financial reporting standards

Duration: Relief contract (3 Months – Possibility of Extension)
Location: Port Vila, Efate, Vanuatu
