Job Description
The Vanuatu Public Service Commission wishes to recruit an experienced and qualified person to fill this Director General position;

Annual Salary: VT 6,356,900
Location: Port Vila
Purpose of the position:
1) Provide high standard leadership and management in setting strategic direction, and planning to Departments within the Ministry and State Owned Enterprises/Statutory Bodies
2) Ensure that the implementation of National Sustainable Development Plan 2030,i.e. ensure that each Government Ministry implements their assign Society, Environment and Economic Pillars.
3) Oversee all Constitutional Institutions under PMO.
Selection criteria:
Qualification– Master’s Degree or Higher.
Special Business Education– Either Political Science or Development Studies, Public Administration, Management or Economics or Law.
Experience
Have more than 10 years’ experience om senior executive or leadership in the public sector, policy development and some experience in the business and political world.
