The Opportunity
WVV is now recruiting for a Development Manager for its Famili I Redi Project funded by DFAT
Australian Government. The Project is designed to meet all needs by enabling Labour migrants and their families to maximize the positive impacts of their participation in International Labour Mobility, maintaining good health, strong, violence-free relationships, and financial stability during all stages in the overseas work experience. It also provides Labour migrants and their partners with evidence-based training in healthy relationship and financial managements. This position will be based in Port Vila – Efate
Key responsibilities include:
- Report to the Portfolio Manager
- Collaborate with Portfolio Manager – manage project activities within the respective province, including planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and some budgeting responsibilities. Ensure World Vision Vanuatu delivers high quality outcomes on time , within budget and in line with WVV core values.
- Managing programme/ project staff including capacity building, performance monitoring and day to day operational support.
- Working in partnership with Provincial stakeholders and communities to ensure that World Vision is delivering relevant and high-quality programmes in a sensitive and professional manner.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who brings:
- A relevant tertiary qualification ( Project Management , Financial Trainings, Budgeting or similar)
- At least 2 years’ experience in implementing operational assistance programs or community development trainings .
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and child safeguarding
