We are currently looking for suitable , qualified , experienced and highly motivated professional to fill the role of Development Facilitator X1 for it’s NUMRA Project (Tanna) and Development Facilitator X1 for it’s PIRAS Project Phase 2 (Tanna) and Development Facilitator X 2 for it’s Vanuatu Earthquake Emergency Response Project (Efate).
NUMRA is a new project to strengthen Community Based Disaster Risk Management through improved Water Security in Tafea . This project will work alongside WVV’s current WASH and livelihood projects to support CBDRM and WASH on Tanna Island .
The PIRAS Project Phase 2 will work with 15 communities and approximately 600 household with a focus on Agricultural, Livestock and Nutrition training which will results in improved farming practices on Tanna Island.
The purpose of this positions are to facilitate the Vanuatu Earthquake Emergency Response (VEER ) Inclusive WASH response in Shefa Area by supporting communities that were significantly damaged by the Earthquake.
The Development Facilitator’s will:
- Report to the Development Manager’s
- Implement project activities according to the project design with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving program outcomes
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups
- Carry out ongoing monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
An annual salary package of between VT776,664 to VT810,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
