DEVELOPMENT FACILITATORS X 1 (MANAKI Project)

The Opportunity
We are currently looking for suitable , qualified , experienced and highly motivated professional to fill the role of Development Facilitator for it’s MANAKI Project funded by MFAT Government.
Manaki is a project that will support women and girls with intellectual disability in the first year and then targeting other impairment types . This project will also follow up and do monitoring of the women and girls targeting WRD . This project will work in partnership with Reemi in Efate , Tanna and Santo .
Key responsibilities include:
- Report to the Development Manager
- Implement project activities according to the project design with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving program outcomes
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups.
- Carry out ongoing monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who brings:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and or equivalent to work experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in working with Gender & Health .
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and child safeguarding
