EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
World Vision (WVV, WVSI, WVNZ) joined forces with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT (the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture) (The Alliance) address the twin challenges of poor nutrition and low rural incomes in the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, focusing on Rural livelihoods and Nutrition for 18 target communities. Closely working with women and youths. Approaches use: Existing World Vision models, such as S4T groups, PTL RISE Business training, and IMPACT + clubs, as well as agricultural expertise and recommendations, community-led nutrition behavior change strategies, and a small grants program. The project will have a strong component of knowledge sharing and advocacy within Vanuatu and Solomon Islands as well as within the Pacific region to reduce rural poverty, improve nutrition, promote sustainable agriculture, and empower women and youth.

Development Facilitator x 3
The Development Facilitator will;
- Report to the Development Manager.
- Implementing project activities according to the project design with a focus on ensuring the community has a strong understanding of and plays a strong role in achieving program outcomes.
- Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders such as community members, community leaders and church groups.
- Carry out ongoing monitoring of project activities and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
An annual salary package of between VT776,664 to VT810,000 inclusive of all relevant benefits and annual leave, will be provided dependent on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience.
