Job Description
Role Purpose
To manage the Cruise ship department to meet the service delivery and growth targets for agency services for cruise ship lines as TAL’s principals and ensuring that TAL remains the customers Partner of Choice. To deliver high standard of customer service to external and internal customers ensuring a one-touch resolution of cases handled for all Cruise ship lines. The Cruise Manager will have full responsibility and end-to-end ownership of cruise ship visits to Vanuatu and all issues at a local level. The role is expected to deliver quality problem-solving outcomes to difficult and complex issues. This role will focus on service delivery to cruise ship lines calling Vanuatu ports and potentially other than cruise .
Job Opportunity: Cruise Manager – Port Vila
Tropical Agency Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cruise Manager to lead our cruise operations across Vanuatu. Based in Port Vila, this full-time role is responsible for managing vessel visits, coordinating with government agencies and stakeholders, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our cruise line principals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end cruise operations in Vanuatu ports
- Liaise with Customs, Ports & Marine, Biosecurity, and Immigration
- Ensure timely documentation, reporting, and compliance
- Lead and support the cruise operations team
- Drive service excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in shipping, logistics, or cruise operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of regulatory procedures and port operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
