AJC is looking for a Country Manager for their client DERIV (V) LTD
About the Role
Deriv is opening a new office in Port Vila. Their global company has an ambitious mission to make online trading accessible to anyone, anywhere and on their way to achieving this goal, they are currently serving over 2.5 million customers worldwide, demanding a larger, more widely spread Customer Support team. Vanuatu is their new base.
You will drive the creation and development of the Vanuatu office, including locating a suitable office space, setting up the office, recruiting a team of 10-15 employees in the first year, and onboarding and integrating that team into Deriv’s global Customer Support department. You will also need to take the lead when it comes to the project management of the work assigned to the Vanuatu team, HR management of the team, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance and laws in Vanuatu.
What will you be doing
- Be an inspiring leader and the central point of contact for their Vanuatu office;
- Ensure Deriv (V) Ltd operates in full compliance with applicable regulations and laws in Vanuatu;
- Recruit a dynamic, talented, and committed team of customer support executives for their Vanuatu office and help them get integrate with Deriv teams worldwide;
- Develop KPIs, participate in quarterly appraisals, and help with staff training and development;
- Promote a supportive work environment and cultivate a thriving office culture.
Skills and qualifications
- University degree in any related field
- 5+ years of staff management experience
- 7+ years of Customer Support experience
- Excellent project management skills
- Firm understanding of Customer Support processes
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
