Job Description
“The Consumer Affairs Officer (CAO) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating regulatory activities with a consumer-centric focus in the Telecommunications/ICT sector. The CAO will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with the Telecommunications, Radiocommunications, and Broadcasting Regulation Act No. 30 of 2009, as amended.
The Consumer Affairs Officer will also provide support in resolving disputes between operators and consumers, coordinate TRBR projects related to consumer relations and protection, and oversee the implementation of Consumer and Advertising Guidelines and Consumer Protection Regulation.”
