Contract PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT
Job Description
Summary of Task
The consultant will be required to support DOWR in its capacity for procurement by providing on-the-job training of staff on existing Government of Vanuatu standard procurement procedures.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be paid based on the following deliverables:
- Report on mentoring DoWR staff in RFQ and Tender processes
- Complete tender process for 10 new construction tenders including creating tender package and ensuring signing of contract by contractors
- Complete RFQ process for 6 sets of 10 DWSSPs
- Finalize Contract templates
Qualifications or Specialized Knowledge/Experienced Required:
A degree or a relevant qualification in finance or business management.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in financial management and public procurement in Vanuatu.
Language:
English or French and Bislama
