Job Description
The Department of Tourism is seeking to appoint a communications officer to oversee the Agritourism Diversification Program Social Media Campaign as well as other programs within the department that largely forms the key part of the Vanuatu Sustainable Tourism Strategy (2021-2025). The successful applicant will support the Agritourism National Co-ordinator, the Tourism Business Support Program Coordinator and the Safe Business Operations Coordinator and work across Government departments such as: Tourism, Industry, Agriculture, and Health to implement the Agritourism Diversification Program social media campaign.
DoT encourages Ni Vanuatu and minority groups to apply. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bislama is essential. The assignment will be based in Port Vila, with travel to the outer provinces of Vanuatu.
