The Port Vila City Council is keen to recruit a suitable candidate for an exciting role of Communications Officer within the Organization.
The purpose of this position is to provide for an effective and efficient public relation service to the general public and media organizations regarding Council matters.

Candidates with the following Qualification and Experience are eligible to Apply:
Education/ Training: Certificate or diploma in Journalism
Experience: 3 – 5 years in a media related organization or related field
Language: Ability to read and write in English, French is desirable and knowledge of Bislama
Competencies: Excellent communication skills, Computer literate, report writing, ability to prioritise and plan effectively and good public presentation and negotiation skills.
