Job Description

Transparency International Vanuatu (TIV) is seeking to procure and engage a local consultancy firm or individual to undertake a scoping study of the Vanuatu national policy focusing on the governance framework and practice relating to climate change, including a list of recommendations for policy and practice changes.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• Expertise and demonstrated experience in Climate Change Governance programming in Vanuatu
• Understanding of global and national policy making processes relating to climate action and disclosures
• Understanding of gender responsive and inclusive of the marginalized groups most vulnerable to climate impacts
• Understanding of climate change monitoring mechanisms such as social accountability tools
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work well and deliver within timeframes
• Strong preference for knowledge and experience working in Vanuatu
