VACANCY NOTICE: Chief Warden
The Port Vila City Council intends to recruit a suitable, qualified and experienced candidate for the exciting position of Chief Warden.
The role of the position is to plan, direct, manage and oversee operations of the Warden Unit, coordinate assigned activities with other division and other agencies, as well as providing support to the Office of the Town Clerk.

Annual Salary: 1,906,500vt
Division: Operation Division
Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu
Candidates with the following qualification and experience are eligible to apply:
- Education/Training : Degree in Policing or relevant field.
- Experience : At least 5 years in policing or in relevant field.
- Language : English, French & Bislama (Verbal and Written)
Competencies
- Experience operating under policies and procedures.
- Display strong leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate well to people at all levels.
- Proactive engagement and effective team work with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate and use of MS Office.
- Good reporting and presentation skills.
- Ability to write official documents including correspondence.
- Uphold highest confidentiality, privacy and integrity to protect the organisation.
- Be able to work overtime, under pressure, and work unsupervised.
