Position: Chief Financial Controller (CFC)
Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu
SPH, a company responsible for the management and oversight of hospitality properties in Vanuatu, is
seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Financial Controller (CFC) to join our executive leadership team.
The CFC will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the company’s long- term financial sustainability and growth within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s finance and accounting functions.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory financial and tax obligations in Vanuatu.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to the Board and senior management.
- Manage financial risks and internal controls.
- Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors and financial institutions.
- Support investment decisions and financial planning for hospitality property development and operations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior financial management, preferably within hospitality, property management, or tourism-related industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing finance teams.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
