Job Description
Vanuatu Post Limited is seeking to recruit a CEO who will be responsible for the leadership and overall management of Vanuatu Post Limited with full accountability for the Corporation’s results.
Candidates should have the following experience:
- 5 years + experience at a Senior Management or Executive level in the field of Postal Operations or in a medium to large service or commercial organisation.
- Experience in development and implementation of corporate & business plans, strategies and in performance measurement.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide and articulate a Vision & Mission for an organisation.
- Proven experience and ability to drive change to improve the outcomes of a business.
- Experience in Corporate Governance an advantage.
- Experience in developing and managing a HPT (High Performing Team)
Other qualities should include:
- Demonstrable ability to focus on strategic issues.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong planning and organizing capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills. Background in accounting or finance an advantage.
- Good knowledge of technology and its applications.
- Outstanding communication skills – Bislama & English essential, French an advantage.
- Strong network of people and organizations locally and internationally
Applicants should have a University Degree or equivalent academic qualification in business administration, economics, finance and/or law. A Masters of Business or MBA would be preferred.
