Cattle Farm Manager – Vanuatu

The Teouma Group, Vanuatu’s largest integrated cattle and agricultural business, is seeking a highly experienced Cattle Farm Manager to oversee one of our major cattle stations.
This is a full-time position, managing a 5,000-hectare farm with approximately 6,000 head of cattle. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of operations and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of 15 staff, including stockmen, tractor drivers, mechanics, and fencing crew
- Conduct Pregnancy Testing and Artificial Insemination
- Oversee cattle rotation and pasture management
- Use AgriWebb software to manage livestock records and stock movements
- Maintain farm infrastructure, including improved pasture, fences, water pumps, and other assets
- Perform horseback mustering alongside stockment
- Ensure animal welfare and manage herd health
- Coordinate maintenance of tractors, generators, and other farm equipment
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cattle farming
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Skilled in AI, pregnancy testing, and pasture management
- Proficient with farm management software (AgriWebb experience highly regarded)
- Comfortable working in a remote setting and managing a large property independently
- Practical mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability
